Tyson Chandler Sells Chicago Home, Takes Nearly $2,000,000 Loss!

It’s been a whirlwind 10 days for Tyson Chandler. He’s won an NBA championship, been a guest judge on the Miss U.S.A. pageant and then closed Monday on the sale of his Chicago mansion that had been on the market for 4 years. Yes, 4! Originally purchased for $4mm and then listed for $5mm, Chandler finally succumbed to the real estate market with a sale of the 7,309 sq. ft. home in Northfield, IL for $2.1mm.

According to Zillow:

A large, two-story Foyer with walnut and travertine flooring leads to a dramatic two-story Great room with a soaring fireplace and custom travertine floors. The players said they want to return, but keeping a player like Chandler might be the most important challenge.
