Keri Hilson was born October 27, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia. Hilson began writing songs as a child, and continued to pursue her passion for music while a student at Oxford College in Atlanta. Hilson has penned songs for many established artists such as Toni Braxton, Xzibit, Ciara, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Timbaland, the Pussycat Dolls, Kelly Rowland, and many others. Hilson has also added background vocals in many of the songs she has written.
She was featured on Xzibit's single, "Hey Now (Mean Muggin')", and performed with Xzibit at the 2004 MTV Europe Awards. After "Hey Now" Hilson was featured in the video for the Nelly Furtado single "Promiscuous." In 2007, Timbaland's "The Way I Are" featuring Keri Hilson & D.O.E., became a Top 10 hit. Timbaland and Hilson are reportedly working on her debut album.
Long before establishing herself in the music industry, 13-year-old Keri and her family moved into this home in Lithonia, Georgia, shortly after its construction in 1995.
Her parents purchased a vacant lot next to the home a short time later, and in 2006, Keri purchased the vacant lot on the opposite side of the home.
In late 2008, Keri Hilson paid just under $280,000 for a two bedroom, two bathroom loft in Atlanta.
Keri's home also includes a rooftop deck, and a two-car garage.
