Courtney Cox and David Arquette Selling Beverly Hills Mansion for $20 Million

Just after we covered Chandler’s new bachelor pad, it looks like his fake wife Monica Geller’s real divorce means she is selling her massive Beverly Hills mansion for $20 million. The estate covers 5,000 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

With Courtney Cox and David Arquette settling their divorce, they are looking to sell their sprawling Beverly Hills home. This post-modern mid-century home was designed by the renowned A. Quincy Jones, before being remodelled by Cory Buckner, an architect who also wrote a book on Jones. Note that it is ranch-style and only covers one floor.

Courtney Cox is a known real estate investor in the area and architecture of Southern Californian homes, and has been making real estate investments dating back into the 1990s. The couple bought the Beverly Hills property for $5,500,000 in June 2004 and are looking to make almost triple that after only four years with the $20 million asking price. In 2007, Cox and Arquette sold their previous home for massive $27,500,000 to Frank McCourt, known for being the owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. This was just after dropping $17,150,000 on a hill-top estate in Malibu, California.

Courtney Cox and her work renovating her Malibu mansion with architect Michael Kovac was even featured in Elle Decor Magazine. It t features a spectacular view of the Pacific coast, with an outdoor fire pit and lounge. It has its own tennis clubhouse and court. She has a home theater screening room, a staple of any Hollywood star home, with a small kitchen attached. A cool feature is the theater kitchen features food-truck style stool seating, letting the diners chat with the cook and watch a flat-screen TV. Many of her furnishings, fixtures and art are custom or one-of-a-kind.

No word on the sale of her Malibu home that she worked so hard to pimp out. I hope she keeps it as her ballin’ bachelorette pad, which would show-up her fake husband Matthew Perry’s recent purchase of a $8.65 million bachelor pad. Since Courney Cox was the breadwinner in this celebrity marriage, with her net worth more than triple ex-hubby’s, I’m interested to see what they both will drop on their next homes.
