Matthew Perry Buys a Ballin Hollywood Bachelor Pad for $8.65 Million

While it’s easy to imagine that actors of long running sitcoms are actually like their characters, I’d say Matthew Perry is less like Chandler Bing and more like Charlie Harper. (And Charlie Harper being a version of Charlie Sheen that you can actually show on network TV.) In between dating famous actresses, partying and stints at rehab, Perry has stacked a veryimpressive net worth. He was pulling in over a million per episode on Friends during the later seasons, with the final season earning him $1.6 million per episode!

While Chandler was stuck with Joey as a roommate before shacking up with Monica, the real Chandler lives nothing like the character he plays, who has been living in a Hollywood condo he bought fromElton John for $3.2 million. He’s now moving on up the Hollywood hills and has put his condo up for sale for just under $3 million.

Mathew Perry's tranquil bathroomHis new home is truly the ultimate bachelor pad, perched above Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. The stunning post-modern design was covers 4,000 feet and cost him $8.65 million. It features three bedrooms and four bathrooms within a glass and steel structure. The house is outfitted with only the best appliances, accessories, furnishings and materials, with names such as: Sub-Zero, Gagegnau, Poliform, Crestron, Dornbracht, Boffi and Antonio Lupi. Yes, when you don’t know or can’t pronounce the brand name, it’s a guarantee it’s going to cost you. His Renlita Australia garage door is said to cost $27,000 itself! It also has three fireplaces, with one on the patio.

Matthew Perry's bedroom

Matthew Perry's Scarface-esque bathroomNow here are the most pimpin’ features. His master bedroom has all glass walls, giving him a spectacular view of Los Angeles from his bed. From his bedroom he can also see his infinity pool, which is also treated to his view, along with his living room. His bathrooms have different themes, one looks over his garden, while the ‘powder room’ has black-mirrored walls and chandeliers, giving it a bit of a Scarface-esque look. His screening room has to be my favorite part. It seats nine in plush velvet seats, directly under his pool. The ceiling of the theater has a glass panel, letting him view up to make sure all his lady friends are enjoying his infinity pool. The screen and curtain behind it also lift-up, which reveals the stunning view of Los Angeles, so he can just sit back and enjoy all the millions he made from the hit show Friends.
