Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone is selling this little 4200 sq ft (390 m2) London pad located in Manresa Road, the prestigious Chelsea postcode SW 3. The asking price - £14 m ($22.8 m) which in these dire times is rather high considering that in 2006 he paid for the house £6.875 m ($11.2 m).
Certainly a great location and beautiful exterior, but the inside would benefit a decor with a tad more character and less of a symmetric accessories. I guess the almost empty house was staged for the photos, since it seems that these 3 flower arrangement seem to appear in every photo. Anyway, it seems that this place was just a surplus place for his daughters to stay in occasionally, as he has few other houses in the neighbourhood.
I guess this flat certainly is a far cry from the opulent 6-story house he bought for his daughter Petra (after stating that his girls are not spoiled despite not working and getting these sort of presents)
The flat bernie Ecclestone is selling is not in this lovely building, but in the little one on the right of the picture
