The impressive Connecticut home where Katharine Hepburn lived until her death in 2003 at the age of 96 has been put on the market by the current owners for $28M (£17.4 m). The house is classic New England style - so white, fresh and airy. How could one not love a house like this, especially as the location is also so beautiful!
According to Zillow the 1938 hurricane destroyed the house and Katharine Hepburn lost most of her belongings, but she rebuilt it within a year (and even got back her lost Oscan trophy), so there is a lot of interesting history that goes with this lovely estate.
